I never wrote a blog in my life!


I read many blogs from interesting people in my life, it was either someone that had a really good perspective in video games or reading blogs from people that had interesting reviews about movies. I loved how they put sentences together with such creative ways to express themselves to the public, it just shows how much love they have to express what they enjoy. I hope somehow reading through those blogs that I read in the past can help me inspire me to express my passion towards many things and what I feel make me the person who i think i am. I always say "You are not your ideas and your ideas do not make you" but this semester i will write about the things that make me feel joy. I'll write about my days at the gym and recommend you some workouts , places that I i think you should check out around here in the valley, show you some cooking recipes, recommend you some video games, movies and books that have inspired me and many more things that I have yet to think about. My name is Alejandro Herrera and I'm thrilled to share many of my interests in this semesters blog project. Let's make this my first official introduction post.

I remember before I started working out I always had the perception that the gym was a toxic culture. Maybe it was due to the movies I saw that made-up a whole false narrative about the gym culture but I was wrong. In those environments you meet the most kindest and acceptable people ever. It's a great environment of people pushing each other to be a better version of themselves, there was this quote that an older man told me that I used at my friend that changed my perception, I told my friend that it was impressive the weight that he was pushing and he said "I's not impressive, I've seen other people do better than me" I said "what, yea it is, you know what they say Comparison is the thief of joy ".
